MEET OUR TEAM

We at POG Boulder emphasize the importance of personal connections with patients, believing that understanding their goals and preferences is crucial for effective treatment. We view work as a collaborative effort, combining our expertise with the patients' insights into their own bodies.

Angela Montgomery, CPO

ABC CERTIFIED PROSTHETIST & ORTHOTIST

BOULDER P&O OWNER & MANAGER

Angela Montgomery has been making prosthetics, braces, and mobility aids for people along the Front Range for 22 years. With a background in health and sports sciences from the University of Oklahoma and advanced training in prosthetics and orthotics, she began her career in Boulder, Colorado.

As a college athlete, Angela Montgomery discovered the field of biomechanics and quickly fell in love with the study of human movement. She was drawn to the problem-solving nature of the Orthotics & Prosthetics field in helping people overcome or adapt to different movement challenges.

Now over 20 years into her career, she prides herself in helping people find ways to return to an active lifestyle in the face of adversity. She has witnessed the topic of accessibility repeated over her years of serving the community and has come to understand (but not accept) the fact that often the largest obstacles for her clients returning to an active lifestyle are insurance policies and exclusive regulations.

She founded the Rocky Mountain Orthotic & Prosthetic Coalition to serve as a community voice to fight against these inequities.  As the daughter of an attorney and health and physical education teacher, Angela was raised to fight for equality and justice and to understand the power of movement for overall health and well-being – both of which have become paramount at this stage of her career.

She is a practice owner, wife and mother of two young boys. Through RMOPC, Angela seeks to make long-lasting policy change that will allow prosthetic users to gain better access to the devices that will help them live a full life without limitations.
